Richard and Precious Mahuni - Tatenda Woven Baskets

We are so excited to announce a new collaboration!

Tatenda Woven Baskets is owned by Richard and Precious Mahuni, master basket weavers from Zim, who sell their gorgeous baskets in the suburbs of Cape Town. The business is named after Richard and Precious’s daughter, Tatenda, who is 20 years old and has just completed her A levels in Zim. They also have a son, Brandon who is studying actuarial science. 

Tatenda means ‘Thank You’ in Shona, and Precious and Richard are so grateful for the support that they are getting from their growing fan base.  

Big Heart Collective is honored to be showcasing a range of Richard and Precious’s baskets as a part of our collection. These lovely baskets can now be purchased online on our site and will be packed and delivered with love, anywhere in South Africa!
